An Ordinary Stack is comprised of riders mounted on side-by-side ordinary bicycles (a.k.a. high wheel bicycles) and self-standing for 3 minutes or more. Such a stack cannot include Ordinaries of more than two wheels. Such a stack may include reproduction ordinary bicycles of accurate proportions, design, and construction.

A century day riding an ordinary bicycle is a person riding at least 100 miles in a 24 hour period. Consecutive century days are consecutive 24 hour periods in which at least 100 miles is ridden in each 24 hour period. Such a feat may be accomplished using an original ordinary bicycle or a reproduction ordinary bicycles of accurate proportions, design, and construction.

DISTANCE OF CONTINUOUS RIDING AN ORDINARY WITHOUT DISMOUNTING

Riders may attempt a long distance, non-stop ride on an ordinary without dismounting for the entire ride. Such a feat may be accomplished using an original ordinary bicycle or a reproduction ordinary bicycles of accurate proportions, design, and construction.

An ordinary tour across the United States is a major undertaking by a Wheelmen. Many Wheelmen have accomplished this feat over the years going back to the 1880's. While road surfaces are vastly improved in the 20th and 21st centuries, the ride remains a test of a rider's mettle. A cross-country tour may be ridden on an original bicycle, a restored machine, or a reproduction machine of accurate proportions, design, and construction.
